NOTICE OF DEVELOPMENTS IN THE NORTHERN OHIO DISTRICT COURT IN REGARD TO PLAINTIFFS' PROPOSED FILING WITH THIS COURT OF THE TRANSCRIPT OF THE DEPOSITION OF MICHAEL CONNELL On December 10, 2010, plaintiffs filed a motion to reopen Northern District of Ohio Miscellaneous Case No. 1:08-mc-105, to enable them to file with this Court their deposition of Michael Connell taken on November 3, 2008. On December 27, 2010, the law firm which had represented Michael Connell in that deposition filed a motion for a 30-day extension of time in which interested parties could respond. On January 6, 2011, the Northern Ohio District Court granted the requested extension of time. Responses to plaintiffs’ motion from interested parties are now due on or before January 26, 2011. In view of these developments, as well as the completion of voting in the 2010 elections and the expiration of time for filing contests of those elections, plaintiffs withdraw their request for an emergency hearing upon their motion for reconsideration of the Magistrate Judge’s Opinion and Order of November 19, 2010. 1 Dockets.Justia.com Plaintiffs will file with this court the full transcript of the deposition of Michael Connell to the full extent and at the earliest time they are permitted to do so by the Northern Ohio District Court.
