Saneaux's claims for relief under 28 U.S.C. § 2255, to the extent they are not coupled or intertwined with a claim of ineffective assistance of counsel, are precluded by his failure to raise those issues on dir ect appeal. To the extent that Saneaux seeks relief on the basis of ineffective assistance of trial counsel, those claims fail under the governing law.
