STATE OF CALIFORNIA, et al., 15 Defendants. 16 17 On April 18, 2022, the magistrate judge filed findings and recommendations (ECF No. 3), 18 which were served on plaintiff and which contained notice that any objections to the findings and 19 recommendations were to be filed within fourteen (14) days. On May 9, 2022, plaintiff filed 20 untimely objections to the findings and recommendations (ECF No. 4), which nevertheless have 21 been considered by the court. 22 In accordance with the provisions of 28 U.S.C. § 636(b)(1)(C) and Local Rule 304, this 23 court has conducted a de novo review of this case.
