FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS / 15 16 No. CIV S-07-2058 GEB EFB P Petitioner is a state prisoner without counsel seeking a writ of habeas corpus. See 28 17 U.S.C. § 2254. On December 8, 2008, the court dismissed petitioner’s original petition. That 18 order set forth the deficiencies in the petition, directed petitioner to file an amended petition 19 curing the deficiencies within 20 days and warned him that failure to do so would result in a 20 recommendation that this action be dismissed. 21 22 23 24 The 20 days have passed and petitioner has not filed an amended petition or otherwise responded to that order. Accordingly, it is hereby RECOMMENDED that this action be dismissed. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 41(b); Rule 11 of the Rules Governing Section 2254 Cases; L. R. 11-110. 25 These findings and recommendations are submitted to the United States District Judge 26 assigned to the case, pursuant to the provisions of 28 U.S.C. § 636(b)(l).
