United States v. Ramos-Delgado, No. 13-40367 (5th Cir. 2014)Annotate this Case
Defendants appealed their sentences after pleading guilty to various counts related to the transportation of illegal aliens. The court concluded that the district court did not err in applying a ten-level enhancement under U.S.S.G. 2L1.1(b)(7) to defendants' sentences where defendant's actions were the but-for cause of injuries and death of the illegal aliens.
