Robert Walter Woltz, Plaintiff-appellant, v. Ava I. Gift, Office Supervisor Iii, Hagerstown Regionalcommitment Office, Defendant-appellee, 51 F.3d 270 (4th Cir. 1995)Annotate this Case
Robert Walter Woltz, Appellant Pro Se.
Before RUSSELL and WILLIAMS, Circuit Judges, and CHAPMAN, Senior Circuit Judge.
Appellant appeals from the district court's order denying relief on his 42 U.S.C. § 1983 (1988) complaint. Our review of the record and the district court's opinion discloses that this appeal is without merit. Accordingly, we affirm on the reasoning of the district court. Woltz v. Gift, No. CA-94-2544-B (D. Md. Sept. 30, 1994). See also Heck v. Humphrey, 62 U.S.L.W. 4594 (U.S.1994) (Sec. 1983 action calling into question the validity of a conviction is not cognizable unless the conviction has been overturned). We dispense with oral argument because the facts and legal contentions are adequately presented in the materials before the Court and argument would not aid the decisional process.
