Annotate this Case
US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit - 872 F.2d 419 (4th Cir. 1989) Submitted Feb. 15, 1989. Decided March 21, 1989. Rehearing Denied April 20, 1989

Charles David Stanley, appellant pro se.

Richard Norwood League, Office of the Attorney General of North Carolina, for appellees.

Before DONALD RUSSELL, K.K. HALL, and WILKINS, Circuit Judges.

Charles David Stanley seeks to appeal the district court's order refusing habeas corpus relief pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. Our review of the record and the district court's opinion discloses that this appeal is without merit. Accordingly, we deny a certificate of probable cause to appeal and dismiss the appeal on the reasoning of the district court. Stanley v. Barnett, C/A No. 88-456-HC (E.D.N.C. Oct. 5, 1988). We dispense with oral argument because the facts and legal contentions are adequately presented in the materials before the Court and argument would not aid the decisional process.
