TITLE 49--TRANSPORTATION
SUBTITLE I--DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
CHAPTER 1--ORGANIZATION
Sec. 109. Maritime Administration
(a) The Maritime Administration transferred by section 2 of the
Maritime Act of 1981 (46 App. U.S.C. 1601) is an administration in the
Department of Transportation.
(b) The Administrator of the Administration appointed under section
4 of the Maritime Act of 1981 (46 App. U.S.C. 1603) reports directly to
the Secretary of Transportation.
