Title 40 - Protection of Environment
(a)(1) The sites identified in this section are approved for dumping the indicated materials on an interim basis pending completion of baseline or trend assessment surveys and final designation or termination of use. Unless otherwise specifically provided in the entry for a particular site, such interim use sites are available indefinitely pending completion of the present studies and determination of the need for the continuing use of these sites, the completion of any necessary studies, and evaluation of their suitability. Designation studies for particular sites within this group will begin as soon as feasible after the completion of nearby sites presently being studied. The sizes and use specifications are based on historical usage and do not necessarily meet the criteria stated in this part. (2) Unless otherwise specifically noted, site management authority for each site set forth in this section is delegated to the EPA Regional office under which the site entry is listed.
