Determination that vehicle was overweight--Variation of five percent.
For the
purpose of this chapter, in determining the gross weight of vehicle or vehicles, and load combined,
a variation of five percent, but not to exceed one thousand pounds in excess of the maximum weights
herein provided, is hereby allowed, without such variation constituting a violation of this chapter.
