Alternative permit to be secured before movement--Violation as misdemeanor.
Application to pay commercial motor vehicle fees pursuant to § 32-9-23.2 shall be made and the
permit secured prior to the motor carrier beginning the movement over the highways. A violation
of this section is a Class 2 misdemeanor.
