     32-5-2.9.   (Section effective January 1, 2008) Operation of purchased vehicle that had plates removed--Bill of sale. If a person purchases a motor vehicle that the number plates have been removed pursuant to § 32-5-2.7, the person may operate the motor vehicle for five days from the date of purchase without number plates if a dated notarized bill of sale is carried in the motor vehicle.
