"Driver license" and "operator's license" defined.
For purposes of this chapter, terms
are defined in § 32-14-1. Terms used in this chapter mean:
(1)
"Driver license," a document issued by a state or jurisdiction to an individual that
authorizes the individual to drive a motor vehicle, including an operator's license,
motorcycle operator's license, restricted minor's permit, motorcycle restricted minor's
permit, instruction permit, motorcycle instruction permit, and temporary permit; and
(2)
"Operator's license," any document issued by a state or jurisdiction to an individual that
bestows full driving privileges upon the individual.
