A reasonable allowance may be made by any court or magistrate to an officer
serving a search warrant and to any person employed by an officer as aid in the
service of any process, whenever the allowance shall be adjudged necessary by
the court or justice, not exceeding in any case one dollar ($1.00) per day to
each person so employed.
