§ 9-26-28 — Execution against sheriff.


    Whenever judgment shall be rendered against any person holding the office of sheriff, the execution issued thereon, directed in the ordinary form, may be delivered to the sheriff or a deputy sheriff of some other county, who, within the county of the defendant sheriff, may levy on the property, subject to levy on execution, of the defendant, as the proper sheriff of the county might do in other cases, and proceed and sell the property according to law.
