Any warrant or commission for the appraisement of an estate, for examining
claims against the estate of a deceased person, for the partition of real
estate, or for the assignment of dower or other interest in real estate may be
revoked by the court for sufficient cause; and the court may thereupon issue a
new warrant or commission, or proceed otherwise, as the circumstances of the
case shall require, or in the case of death, disability, or resignation of one
or more of the appointees may supply vacancies occasioned thereby in such
manner as the court shall deem best.
