§ 4758.24. Issuance of license or certificate.
 

(A)  The chemical dependency professionals board shall issue a license or certificate under this chapter to an individual who meets all of the following requirements: 

(1) Is of good moral character as determined in accordance with rules adopted under section 4758.20 of the Revised Code; 

(2) Submits a properly completed application and all other documentation specified in rules adopted under section 4758.20 of the Revised Code; 

(3) Pays the fee established under section 4758.21 of the Revised Code for the license or certificate that the individual seeks; 

(4) Meets the requirements to obtain the license or certificate that the individual seeks as specified in section 4758.40, 4758.41, 4758.42, 4758.43, 4758.44, or 4758.45 of the Revised Code; 

(5) Meets any additional requirements specified in rules adopted under section 4758.20 of the Revised Code to obtain the license or certificate that the individual seeks. 

(B)  The board shall not issue an initial certificate to practice as a chemical dependency counselor I.
