[§ 2907.17.1] § 2907.171. Effect of prosecutor's failure to give notice.
The failure of the prosecuting attorney to give the notice required by
section 2907.17 of the Revised Code does not give rise to a claim for damages against the prosecuting attorney or the county. The failure of the prosecuting attorney to give the notice does not constitute grounds for declaring a mistrial or new trial, for setting aside a conviction or sentence, or for granting postconviction relief to a defendant.
