     629.45 Proceedings in the case of bail refusal. 

    If a judge in the county where an arrest is made refuses to 
 release the person arrested on bail, or if sufficient bail is 
 not offered, the officer in charge of that person shall take the 
 person before the judge who issued the warrant.  If the judge 
 who issued the warrant is absent, the officer in charge of the 
 arrested person shall take the person before some other judge of 
 the county in which the warrant was issued, to be proceeded with 
 as directed.
