     611A.41 Crime victim crisis center. 

    Subdivision 1.    Center.  For the purposes of sections 611A.41 
 to 
 611A.44, "center" means a crime victim crisis center providing 
 services to victims of crime. 

    Subd. 2.    Operational centers.  The commissioner of 
 corrections, not later than 
 January 1, 1978, shall establish at least two operational 
 centers.  The commissioner of corrections may contract with a 
 public or private agency for the purposes of planning, 
 implementing and evaluating the centers established herein.
