     243.1607 Interstate Adult Offender Supervision Compact 
  administrator. 

    (a) The commissioner of corrections or the commissioner's 
 designee shall serve as the compact administrator. 

    (b) In addition to fulfilling the duties of compact 
 administrator as described in the compact and under the rules 
 and bylaws adopted to it, the compact administrator shall serve 
 on the Advisory Council on Interstate Adult Offender Supervision 
 described in section 243.1606.  The compact administrator shall 
 cooperate with the council and report to it regularly on all 
 aspects of the state's participation in the compact. 

    (c) The compact administrator shall assess and collect 
 fines, fees, and costs from any state or local entity deemed 
 responsible by the compact administrator for a default as 
 determined by the interstate commissioner under section 
 243.1605, article XII, section B.
