61.385 Certain counties may reimburse officers and employees for use of personal
motor vehicles on official business.
Whenever the fiscal court of any county containing a city of the first class is authorized
by law to furnish a motor vehicle to any officer or employee of the county, the fiscal court
may permit such officer or employee to use his own motor vehicle in the discharge of his
official duties, and whenever any such officer or employee incurs any expense incident to
traveling in his own motor vehicle, while on official business, the amount allowed for
such expense may be fixed by the fiscal court.
