GROUND WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICTS
42-5105. CITIES -- MANNER OF VOTING FOR DIRECTORS. Each city which has
elected to be and is included within the district shall be entitled to one (1)
vote and the vote of the majority of the members of the city council of each
such city shall constitute the vote of the city. The voting shall be conducted
at a regular meeting of the city council or a special meeting called by the
mayor for that purpose to be held on or within a week prior to the date set
for election. The voting results shall be certified to by the mayor and
forwarded to the secretary of the district prior to the date set for
canvassing of election returns by the board of directors. The provisions of
section 42-5107, Idaho Code, shall not apply to cities or other government
agencies.
