                                  CHAPTER 20
                        RECLAMATION OF CAREY ACT LANDS
    42-2036.  RIGHTS OF WAY FOR CANALS. The maps in the office of the
department of water resources of the lands selected under the provisions of
this chapter shall show the location of the canals or other irrigation works
approved in the contract with the department, and all lands filed upon shall
be subject to the rights of way of such canals or irrigation works. Each right
of way shall embrace the entire width of the canal and such additional width
as may be required for its proper operation and maintenance, the width of
right of way to be specified in the contracts provided for in this chapter.
