                                  CHAPTER 32
                                     FEES
    31-3218.  RECEIPT FOR FEES. Every officer upon receiving any fees for
official duty or services, may be required by the person making the same to
make out in writing and deliver to such person a particular account of such
fees, specifying for what they respectively accrued, and shall receipt for the
same; and if he refuses or neglects to do so, when required, or shall receive
illegal fees, he shall be liable to the party paying for three (3) times the
amount so paid.
