                          FALSIFYING, MUTILATING OR
                         CONCEALING PUBLIC RECORDS OR
                             WRITTEN INSTRUMENTS
    18-3206.  MUTILATING WRITTEN INSTRUMENTS. A person who maliciously
mutilates, tears, defaces, obliterates or destroys any written instrument, the
property of another, the false making of which would be forgery, is punishable
by imprisonment in the state prison for not less than one (1) nor more than
five (5) years.
