article shall not apply to any mortgage, bill of sale to secure debt, retention
of title contract, deed of trust, or other security instrument creating a lien
on, retaining title to, or conveying an interest in property owned by, sold or
leased to, or agreed to be sold or leased to any railroad corporation, street
railroad corporation, electric or gas corporation, or other public utility
corporation or any receivers, trustees, or other legal officers in possession of
or operating any railroad corporation, street railroad corporation, electric or
gas corporation, or other public utility corporation.
