All
carnival rides and attractions shall be inspected annually and may be inspected
more frequently by the Office of Safety Engineering of the department at the
owner´s or operator´s expense. If the carnival ride meets all relevant
provisions of this chapter and the standards and regulations adopted pursuant to
this chapter, the licensed inspector shall provide to the owner or operator a
certificate of inspection. All new carnival rides shall be inspected before
commencing public operation.
