2-7-101.
(a)
If the application for renewal of any license, permit, or certification is not
filed prior to the first day of the succeeding license period, a penalty of 50
percent shall be assessed and added to the original fee and shall be paid by the
applicant before the renewal license, permit, or certification is issued.
(b)
Any person holding a current valid license, permit, or certification may renew
such license, permit, or certification for the next year or the next license
period, subject to reexamination or such other requirements as the Commissioner
may impose by regulation to ensure that applicators continue to meet the needs
of changing technology and to assure a continuing level of competence and
ability to use pesticides safely and properly.
(c)
If a license, permit, or certification is not renewed within 60 days after the
beginning of a new license period, then such licensee, permittee, or certificate
holder shall be required to take another examination.
