Sec. 46a-81. (Formerly Sec. 4-61r). Statutes controlling law enforcement
agencies excepted. (a) The provisions of sections 46a-79 to 46a-81, inclusive, shall
prevail over any other provisions of law which purport to govern the denial of licenses,
permits, certificates, registrations, or other means to engage in an occupation, trade,
vocation, business or profession, on the grounds of a lack of good moral character, or
which purport to govern the suspension or revocation of a license, permit, certificate or
registration on the grounds of conviction of a crime.

History: P.A. 80-422 made minor changes in wording and added Subsec. (b) re applicability of Secs. 4-61n, 4-61o and 4-61r to law enforcement agencies; Sec. 4-61r transferred to Sec. 46a-81 in 1981 and internal section references changed as necessary to reflect their transfer.
