      Sec. 43-34. Penalty. Any person who, by himself, his employee or agent, or as the employee or agent of another, violates any of the provisions of sections 43-31 to 43-33, inclusive, shall, upon a first conviction, be fined not less than twenty dollars nor more than two hundred dollars or imprisoned not more than three months or be both fined and imprisoned. Upon any subsequent conviction any such person shall be fined not less than fifty dollars nor more than five hundred dollars or imprisoned not more than one year or be both fined and imprisoned.
