§31C-1-2 Authority of commissioner and board of banking and financial institutions.
§31C-1-2. Authority of commissioner and board of banking and financial institutions.The commissioner of the department of banking shall be responsible for the supervision and regulation of credit unions incorporated under this chapter or previously incorporated under this code. The commissioner is specifically charged with administering the supervisory and regulatory responsibilities set forth in this chapter, in conjunction with the board of banking and financial institutions as set forth in section two, article three, chapter thirty-one-a of this code.
