§19-4-26. False reports about finances or management of cooperative associations; penalty.
Any person who maliciously and knowingly spreads false reports about the finances or management or activity of any cooperative association shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction thereof, fined not less than one hundred nor more than one thousand dollars for each offense; and shall be liable to the association aggrieved in a civil action for damages therefor.
