59.1-163. Penalty for violation.

Any person, firm or corporation selling any motor fuel or lubricating oilwhich does not comply with the specifications provided in this chapter, orviolating any of the provisions of the chapter, shall be guilty of a Class 1misdemeanor. Any dealer in any motor fuel who receives motor fuel meeting therequirements of this chapter and who thereafter adulterates any such gasolineor mixes it with inferior motor fuel, so that the resulting product does notmeet the requirements of this chapter, shall be guilty of a Class 1misdemeanor.
