13.1-722.8. Definitions.
In this article:
"Articles of organization" has the same meaning specified in 13.1-1002.
"Converting entity" means the domestic corporation or domestic limitedliability company that adopts a plan of entity conversion pursuant to thisarticle.
"Corporation" has the same meaning specified in 13.1-603.
"Limited liability company" has the same meaning specified in 13.1-1002.
"Member" has the same meaning specified in 13.1-1002.
"Membership interest" or "interest" has the same meaning specified in 13.1-1002.
"Surviving entity" means the corporation or limited liability company thatis in existence immediately after consummation of an entity conversionpursuant to this article.
