2006 Utah Code - 78-30-1.5 — Legislative intent -- Best interest of child.
78-30-1.5. Legislative intent -- Best interest of child.(1) It is the intent and desire of the Legislature that in every adoption the best interest of the child should govern and be of foremost concern in the court's determination.
(2) The court shall make a specific finding regarding the best interest of the child, in accordance with Section 78-30-9 and the provisions of this chapter.
