§61d–3. Office of the Chaplain Expense Revolving Fund (a) Establishment
There is established in the Treasury of the United States within the contingent fund of the Senate a revolving fund, to be known as the “Office of the Chaplain Expense Revolving Fund” (hereafter referred to as the “fund”). The fund shall consist of all moneys collected or received with respect to the Office of the Chaplain of the Senate.
(b) DisbursementsThe fund shall be available without fiscal year limitation for disbursement by the Secretary of the Senate, not to exceed ,000 in any fiscal year, for the payment of official expenses incurred by the Chaplain of the Senate. In addition, moneys in the fund may be used to purchase food or food related items. The fund shall not be available for the payment of salaries.
(c) DepositsAll moneys (including donated moneys) received or collected with respect to the Office of the Chaplain of the Senate shall be deposited in the fund and shall be available for purposes of this section.
(d) VouchersDisbursements from the fund shall be made on vouchers approved by the Chaplain of the Senate.
