1-19B-51. Maintenance and repairs not changing appearance permitted--Correction of unsafe conditions. Nothing in this chapter prevents the ordinary maintenance or repair of any exterior feature in an historic district which does not involve a change in design, material, color, or outer appearance thereof, nor prevents the construction, reconstruction, alteration, restoration, or demolition of any such feature which the building inspector or similar official shall certify is required by the public safety because of an unsafe or dangerous condition.Source: SL 1974, ch 21, § 12; SL 2009, ch 1, § 95.
