     52-1-9.   False filings as misdemeanor. A person who knowingly files or causes to be filed, any statement, information, application, report, document or other form of proof with the director of the Division of Banking or the State Banking Commission which is in whole or in part materially false or who knowingly makes or causes to be made any false entry in a book, document, record, application, information or other proof filed with the director or the board pursuant to this title or pursuant to an order or request of the director or board is guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.
