2006 South Dakota Code - 3-7-13 — Restoration of chief or superintendent or their deputies to former position whenremoved from office.

     3-7-13.   Restoration of chief or superintendent or their deputies to former position when removed from office. If the chief agent of the Division of Criminal Investigation of the attorney general's office, the superintendent of the state highway patrol, the deputy of the chief agent, or the deputy of the superintendent, who prior to his appointment served in the ranks is removed for other than cause he shall be returned to the position or related position which he held immediately prior to his appointment. The rate of pay shall be commensurate with his years of service.
