3-6A-48. Ineligibility for appointment after conviction--Forfeiture of position. Any person who is convicted of a misdemeanor under this chapter, shall, for a period of not to exceed five years, be ineligible for appointment to or employment in a position in the career service, and if he is an officer or employee of the career service, shall forfeit his office or position.Source: SL 1973, ch 23, § 27.
