     3-6-17.   Maximum hours of duty for city firemen. Full-time employees of city fire departments shall have their own hours of employment governed by a mutual agreement with respective municipal corporations and may not exceed two hundred twelve hours during a twenty-eight-day work period or two hundred four hours during a twenty-seven-day work period as determined by mutual agreement without paying additional compensation or allowing compensatory time off.
