3-17-16. Powers and duties of acting state's attorney or sheriff. Any attorney temporarily appointed may discharge all the duties of an elected state's attorney and shall speedily bring to hearing and determination any charges made against the state's attorney so suspended. Any person temporarily appointed as sheriff may discharge all the duties of an elected sheriff.Source: SL 1985, ch 28, § 5.
