3-12-123. Intent to protect previously retired members of systems. It is the intent of the Legislature of the State of South Dakota to provide improved benefits for the already retired members of the retirement systems consolidated into the South Dakota Retirement System created by this chapter and to provide the financial resources necessary to adequately pay for the improved benefits.Source: SL 1974, ch 35, § 77.
