2005 Rhode Island Code - § 39-8-16 — Closing of gates at private way.

    Whoever enters upon or crosses a railroad at any private way which is closed by gates or bars and neglects to close them securely, shall be fined not less than two dollars ($2.00) nor more than ten dollars ($10.00) and shall be liable for the damage sustained therefrom.
