2005 Rhode Island Code - § 39-4-14 — Formal investigation – Notice to utility.

    If, after making a summary investigation, the division becomes satisfied that sufficient grounds exist to warrant a formal hearing being ordered as to the matters so investigated, it shall furnish the public utility interested, a statement notifying the public utility of the matters under investigation. Ten (10) days after the notice has been given the division may proceed to set a time and place for a hearing and investigation.
