2005 Rhode Island Code - § 39-3-36 — Notice of railroad hearing.

    On any matter pertaining to railroad clearances, or on any matter wherein the safety of railroad train personnel is concerned, the public utilities administrator shall, at least ten (10) days before the date of hearing on the matter or matters, serve a notice of the time and place of the hearing by mailing a registered letter, postage prepaid, to the Rhode Island state representative of the legislative board of the united transportation union. To effectuate the purpose of this section it shall be the duty of the united transportation union to notify the division in writing, of the name and address of the state representative.
