2005 Rhode Island Code - § 33-11-22 — Estate rendered insolvent by late claims.

    If an executor or administrator pays, under the provisions of § 33-11-19, so much of the estate and effects of the deceased that the remainder is insufficient to satisfy the claims filed after the expiration of the six (6) month period, and any of the claims are disallowed, he or she may represent the estate insolvent, and shall, pursuant to decree of the probate court, divide and pay over the estate and assets, remaining in his or her hands, among the creditors entitled to payment.
