2005 Rhode Island Code - § 23-4-14.1 — Quality Improvement – Reporting to the governor and legislature.

    The office of the state medical examiners shall issue a status report to the governor and the general assembly on or before September 15, 2005 and March 15, 2006 on efforts and outcomes during the prior six (6) month period. Said report shall include, but may not be limited to, the following areas of quality improvement:

   /BVolume of investigations

   /BTurnaround time for investigations

   /BOrgan/Tissue donation activities

   /BExternal reviews of the OSME, including progress toward national accreditation

   /BBudget and staffing

   /BPlans for continued quality and performance improvement
