Section 6315 - Selling or furnishing butane to minors

     § 6315.  Selling or furnishing butane to minors.
        (a)  Offense defined.--A person commits a summary offense if
     he knowingly sells or knowingly furnishes or purchases with the
     intent to sell or furnish butane to a person who is less than 18
     years of age, except where the relationship of parent and child,
     guardian and ward or adult instructor and pupil exists between
     such person and the person who is less than 18 years of age.
        (b)  Penalty.--A person who is convicted of violating
     subsection (a) shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than
     $250 for the first violation and a fine of $500 for each
     subsequent violation.
        (c)  Definition.--As used in this section, the term "butane"
     means any product which contains 90% by weight or more of n-
     butane, isobutane or both. It does not include products which
     contain n-butane, isobutane or both as a secondary component, or
     within the formulation as a solvent or propellant.
